How can we define a mother?

- One who is excited even for getting her stomach cut to get the baby out. (and bears the repercussions throughout her life)
- One who cleans the shit of the baby while eating her food.
- One who wakes up 24x7, 365 days till her baby doesn't start sleeping at night (Not sleeping gives insomnia, stress, drowsiness, depression)
- One who is doing a full-time job or even more than that (if she is a housewife) and still manages to feed her baby in the evening, play with it, feed it, take care of her husband, get the baby’s homework done.
- One who is underweight but still breastfeeds her baby all day and night without caring about her body.
- One who gives all her savings for her child’s stupid requests.
- One who wears old clothes and is more than happy to see her child in new ones.
- One who manages to smile saying a goodbye to her kids (who she can’t spend a single day without looking at) when they want to move away for independence, work or spouse issues.
- One who is never ever thanked by her kids for whom she compromises her whole life but is questioned instead by them for the gaps left unfulfilled.
- One who cries in pain or works all day in fever but still manages to love her kids who can’t even afford a phone call.
- One whose sad eyes wait for her kids on a festival evening but can only meet them in her dreams once she sleeps with wet eyes because they had to visit friends and in-laws.
